I used "Monkey Business" for this slimline card. The images are coloured up using Copic markers and the background is layered using an embossing folder as well as a die cut . Lots of tropical style leaves make it the perfect spot for a few of these monkeys to hang out.

May Krafty Peeks... Day TWO! Flutter High!

Welcome back to Day TWO of our May Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!? Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is from

artist Michelle Houghton

and it's called.....

FLUTTER HIGH!

There are so many ways to use these beautiful butterflies and the accessory bee and flower stamp! The uplifting sentiments are perfect for any occasion!

Using the Butterfly Bounty Stencil, I dry embossed

and then inked up the stencil for a great 3D background. The Sentiment is from Flutter High

For this card, I embossed the bee with Versamark and clear embossing powder and then ink blended, Flirty Flamingo, Summer Sunshine and Amazing Azure inks overtop. The butterfly was coloured with copics to match.

This set is so versatile and can be used with other sentiments too

Who doesn't love these little guys swinging by for a Birthday Card. I made a simple Barn Door Fold style card and coloured these images up with Copics. Popping the image up with foam tape and adding some enamel dots just completes the card. Make sure that you add this cute card to your cart!!

May Saturday Challenge #668 - Glitter/Foil, Flowers and/or Purple!

Good morning and welcome to our new

Monthly Saturday Challenge

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Are you ready for another krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing?

We've got some fabulous ideas for you

and can't wait to see what you create!

This month the challenge themes for you are:

GLITTER/FOIL, FLOWERS and/or PURPLE!

You can choose any or all - whatever inspires you!

Our Ink Of The Month, which will be on sale all month long, just happens to be a lovely shade of PURPLE!! This month features the gorgeous Alluring Amethyst Ink Pad, Cube and Reinker!! Grab it now to add to your collection.

I used the "Floral Fantasy" stencil with Alluring Amethyst Ink and then glittered it up with stickles over top of the stencil. The sentiment is from Perfect Peony and the flowers are made using white cardstock, lightly blended with Alluring Amethyst Ink and then cut with a die. After being rolled up, I added a little bit of stickles for sparkle (of course I did)

Every month we post a brand new challenge with three themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

May Skrappy Challenge!

Good morning krafty friends!

It's May, and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Here's some fabulous inspiration from our Design Team this month!

I decided to make another ATC card. I am having fun making these little cards and trying different stamps with different backgrounds.

For this ATC card I used "Shake your Palm Palms" and used some Summer Sunshine ink, blended on white cardstock and then die cut with a flower die for the sun. I think it works OK

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation! As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!

You have until Monday, June 5th to enter, and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN! Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!
