Challenge #685 - Fall Activities and/or Halloween!

Happy Fall everyone!!  I chose Fall Activities for this challenge, and the "Leaves are Falling" stamp set.Leaves are Falling! – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

  

I thought that I would shake things up a bit with this card.  I stamped the image using Kraftin Kimmie Wicked Black Ink Wicked Black Ink Pad! – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and coloured it up using Copic markers that I matched to my patterned paper choice.  I made a shaker card using tiny leaves that were cut from some patterned leaf paper in my stash.  I also added a few sequins in fall colours.  I used some Sandy Shores Ink Sandy Shores Ink Pad! – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps for the sentiment and ink blending around the brown cardstock of the card base to give some depth to the plain cardstock.  

A few small leaf die cuts and this card is finished!  I hope that you like it.

I chose to make a fancy fold card, of course, featuring pumpkins from 2 different stamp sets.  I used "Autumn Pumpkins" and "Squirrel Friends" for this card.  The images were stamped in Kraftin Kimmie Wicked Black ink, coloured with copics and the sentiment was stamped in Marvelous Mocha Ink.  The chipboard leaves are also from the shop.

Saturday Challenge #671 - Tags and/or Fall!

 I chose to use all of the prompts for my challenge card.  

I created a card using 2 tags that I welded together on my Cricut.  The card was cut from Kraft paper and the mat was cut from Ivory cardstock.  I used the 'Falling Leaves' stencil with 'Mostly Melon' ink for the background and then dry embossed the leaves.  

The pumpkin stamp and sentiment is from 'Autumn Leaves' . These were stamped in 'Marvelous Mocha' ink and coloured with Copics.  Some gold splatter, gold gems and rustic twine and this finishes off the challenge card.

Mid Month April Saturday Challenge #667 - Stitching, Stencils and/or Orange!

   Good morning and welcome to our  

Monthly Saturday Challenge Mid Inspiration Post

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are back today with an inspirational post showcasing more ideas to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing!

This month the challenge themes for you are: 

STITCHING, STENCILS AND/OR ORANGE!

You can choose any or all - whatever inspires you!

Our Ink Of The Month, which will be on sale all month long, just happens to be a lovely shade of orange!! This month features the gorgeous Cool Canteloupe Ink Pad, Cube and Reinker! Grab it now to add to your collection.

I chose all 3 of the challenges for my card. 

I used the stamp set "Hey You" and the Falling Leaves stencil.  I used gilding flakes with the stencil and coloured the images using Prismacolor Pencils which is a change for me, but I am super happy with the way that they turned out.  I needed a piece of orange cardstock for a mat so I ink blended some Cool Cantaloupe ink on my white mat and I have the perfect colour to highlight the card. The dies for the mats are stitched too.
