October Krafty Peeks…Day ONE!

  Who's ready for some brand NEW Krafty Goodies?

It's time to bring you NEW stamp sets and layering stencils

from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

In case you haven't heard, we have moved the releases to every other month but the same number of wonderful products!

So we will be sharing FOUR new stamp sets (including a Winter Krafty Komeback) and TWO new sets of stencils over the course of this week!

Today we are SO excited to kick things off with these fiery dragons and naughty elves from artist Sabrina van Vloten called 

FLAMING HOLIDAYS!!  

I made this cute and simple fun fold card using, Flaming holidays, and the holiday ornaments layering stencil.  I coloured up the dragon images with copic markers.  The stencil was inked up using Kraftin Kimmie inks in Magical Midnight (which is also the ink of the month!) and Lucky Limeade.  For the ornament tops I used stickles glitter gel in gold.  The inside of the card was made with a mix of Magical Midnight ink and clear glimmer ink mixed together and then splattered.

Challenge #685 - Fall Activities and/or Halloween!

Happy Fall everyone!!  I chose Fall Activities for this challenge, and the "Leaves are Falling" stamp set.Leaves are Falling! – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

  

I thought that I would shake things up a bit with this card.  I stamped the image using Kraftin Kimmie Wicked Black Ink Wicked Black Ink Pad! – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and coloured it up using Copic markers that I matched to my patterned paper choice.  I made a shaker card using tiny leaves that were cut from some patterned leaf paper in my stash.  I also added a few sequins in fall colours.  I used some Sandy Shores Ink Sandy Shores Ink Pad! – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps for the sentiment and ink blending around the brown cardstock of the card base to give some depth to the plain cardstock.  

A few small leaf die cuts and this card is finished!  I hope that you like it.

Who loves the "Air Mail" stamp set? **NEW Air Mail! – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps  I adore the little image of the bear in the helicopter.  Of course, if you know me, I had to change the bear image and make it a panda. I stamped the image in Kraftin Kimmie Wicked Black Ink and then coloured it up with Copics, in blue, gray and silvers,  to match my papers.  A simple and easy card.

August Krafty Peeks...Day TWO!

  Welcome back!

Did you enjoy yesterday's Peeks?
Well, we are back with MORE fun stuff!

Today we are spotlighting a new stamp set
from artist Neda Sadreddin called 
Air Mail!

Eeeee!  Such cute and fluffy little characters in the sky!!

Head out on today's krafty hop and you'll see so many fun creations from the Krafty Team that are just.....plane amazing!

I used the rocketship image from "Air Mail" to make this card today.  I coloured this image with my copics after stamping with Kraftin Kimmie Wicked Black Ink.  I also dry embossed with the stencil for the inside of the card.  The 'moon' die was used to create a hole in the front of the card that I made into a clear peek a boo using clear acetate in between the card base and the front patterned paper of the card.  I cut another moon shape from matte silver cardstock for the moon and added a few stars.  You can now see the moon behind the images that are on top of the acetate.

These images are just incredible for any type of camping themed card or craft that you want to make!!  I found some sweet S'mores paper in my stash (I know) and this set is the perfect one to use to highlight these images.  I coloured up the images after stamping with Kraftin Kimmie Wicked Black ink.  I added Stickles in orange to the fire and I used a Copic to add some colour to my clear sparkles and make them yellow. Make sure you order this set.  The possibilities are endless.

This month's inspiration is the Ocean or WILD CARD.  Of course, I chose the wild card.  I chose my favourite (current)  stamp set,   Pandamonium.  

If you know me, I adore pandas and the colour purple.  I used both to make this slimline card.  I also made what I call a "faux shaker" card.  I used sequins placed randomly all over the background of the cutout.  The pandas were coloured with Copic markers, C9, 7,6, and of course purple.

I used the adorable image from Good Times and Tan Lines for my card.   Stamped with Wicked Black Ink and coloured with Copic Markers, I made a fun fold card.  This stamp set is so fun to use.  It will make some great embellishments for your scrapbook pages, (as will all of our stamps) and the images and sentiments are great for all kinds of cards, too!

July Skrappy Challenge!

  Good morning, my Krafty Friends!

It's JULY and that means it's time for a new
Skrappy Challenge
at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! 

The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!  So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like! 

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  

I chose to use our new Stamp Set, Sum-sum-summertime **NEW Sum-Sum-Summertime! – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps to make this ATC.  The image was stamped with Kraftin Kimmie Wicked Black ink Wicked Black Ink Pad! – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and coloured using Copic markers.  I used the Summer Sunburst stencil and inked it up with a light layer of Sandy Shores ink Sandy Shores Ink Pad! – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps, and then a little Bashful Blush ink Bashful Blush Ink Pad! – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps to fill in and edge the outside of the white cardstock.  After fussy cutting the images were placed onto the cardstock and the sentiment was added with Wicked Black Ink.  This image reminds me so much of Neopolitan Ice cream.  Yummy.  What is your favourite flavour of ice cream?

June Krafty Peeks....Day FOUR!

  Good morning and welcome to our FINAL day of

June Krafty Peeks!

Today we are revealing our last stamp set which will be releasing tomorrow afternoon at 3pm ET!

This one is from artist Neda Sadreddin and is called

GOOD TIMES & TAN LINES!

It's the perfect summer stamp set with these adorable kiddos!

 

 

I love this stamp set.  The images remind me so much of fun times in the summer.  Great for cards or scrapbook pages too.  I used the little boy to make a card with this set.  I used some of the accessory stamps, which are awesome, to create a scene at the beach.  I added a little bit of embossing powder to the bucket to make some sand as well 

I

June Krafty Peeks....Day THREE!

  Good morning and welcome to Day THREE

of our June Krafty Peeks!

It's called SUM-SUM-SUMMERTIME!

Today we are sharing a KRAFTY KOMEBACK stamp set!

For those who are new around these parts, Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps will be celebrating 15 years this fall so we have a lot of retired images most people have never seen before!  (And there are lots of requests for past stamp sets!) So once in a while we bring a set back and this one will be back this weekend!

This is a new stamp set for me and I love it.  All of the images are so summery.  I chose to make a centre opening card and combined several images to make this card.  I stamped my images in Sandy Shores ink and coloured with Copic markers.  I fussy cut the images, used the sand castle in the centre and the flip flops along with some other die cut images were used for the closure.  So fun!!

It's called I SCREAM, YOU SCREAM!!!

It's a set of TWO layering stencils to create this colourful summertime background!  Yummy!

Today we are excited to kick things off with a stunning and elegant stamp set from artist Michelle Houghton called 
FLORAL FUN!!  

 This beautiful floral stamp is so perfect for any of your cards.  I chose the iris image for my card today.  I coloured with watercolour pencils and then lightly blended with my waterbrush.  I love how the colours are vibrant but soft too.
