This month's inspiration is the Ocean or WILD CARD.  Of course, I chose the wild card.  I chose my favourite (current)  stamp set,   Pandamonium.  

If you know me, I adore pandas and the colour purple.  I used both to make this slimline card.  I also made what I call a "faux shaker" card.  I used sequins placed randomly all over the background of the cutout.  The pandas were coloured with Copic markers, C9, 7,6, and of course purple.

June Skrappy Challenge!

 Good morning, my Krafty Friends!

It's JUNE and that means it's time for a new
Skrappy Challenge
at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! 

The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!  So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like! 

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  

I created a gift tag using the new set, Hello Little One.  **NEW Hello Little One! – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps  I stamped the image in Kraftin Kimmie Wicked Black ink and coloured it up with Copic markers. After fussy cutting I added the image to a small die cut circle (the other side of my patterned paper) and then attached them to a die cut tag.  Topped with a ribbon it is ready to add to a baby gift!  This little dog can easily be coloured to match whatever paper you want to use!  I hope that you like it.

April/May Release Recap!

  

This weekend we are having a very special

RELEASE RECAP EVENT!!

I used the stamp set, Look Out World, to create a simple welcome baby card . This set is full of must have baby images for whatever you need.

I used the New Baby Layering stencil in non-traditional colours for the 4 x 4 size cards I made-this size is also perfect for gift enclosures. I used Designer Denim and Lovely Lagoon inks for the first card, and the second card uses Lavish Lilac and Mostly Melon. I popped up a sentiment in co-ordinating ink and my card is done.

I started out my crafting journey as a scrapbooker. Saturday was National Scrapbook Day.  Recently, I have began to scrapbook again and I am enjoying using Kraftin Kimmie stamps and stencils for my layouts.  In this layout I used Krafty Tools Layering Stencils! – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps  for the scissors that I stenciled .  I used lunar paste and granite grey ink.  The other stencil, Splish Splash Stencil! – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps I used for colour splashes with lunar paste.  The splish splash stencil is not just for water splashes.  

Have you tried using stencils on your layouts?  They are so versatile and can be used with just about every medium.  Stencils are a great way to add pizzaz to a simple layout like mine.

I used the cute stamp set, Stu-pand-ous, for this step card featuring all 3 of these Red Pandas.  Pandas are one of my favourite things and these little Red Pandas have made their way into my heart, too.  I love how the accessory stamps just add the right amount of detail to this card.  I used the Wonderful Wildlife stencil to dry emboss the green cardstock for more texture underneath the die cut bamboo.

March Krafty Peeks... Day TWO! Fairies & Furries!

   Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the March Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

These fairies and their furry friends will bring a smile to everyone's face! And they are so awesome for your spring creations!

I love the larger image of this fairy holding the little mouse.  The larger image definitely makes a statement on this card.  The white panel was stenciled using Luscious Lemon ink and then Glitter paste on top.  The sentiment was stamped in Wicked Black.  The copic coloured image was attached with foam tape to the white panel.  

I hope you like the layers of this card!

I used both of the challenge prompts for this card.  I chose some of the cute critters from the stamp set, Puppy Power-don't you just love these dogs, and I used some stitched dies for the panels of this mini slimline card.  The little puppies on this card will definitely bring a smile to the face of the recipient.

For the first card I used the amazing stencil Layering Eggs and inked up the first layer with a variety of Kraftin Kimmie inks and the second layer is white stencil paste that I added some stickles to, for a slightly shimmery accent. I added a die cut and I think that the beautiful stencil is definitely the highlight of this 6x6 card. 

The second card uses an image from New Beginnings.  I thought that the little bunny was a perfect image for a focal point and added a  Happy Easter die cut to complete this mini slimline card.

For this challenge I chose Love/Hearts and made a tag/bookmark using the Beary Love stamp set and dry embossing with the Happy Hearts stencil.  I love the little bears on this set and enjoy making Valentines and Love You themed cards with them.  This tag could be incorporated onto a card or used as a blueprint to make a card, full size or slimline, you choose
